“Good jazz singers are rare. She is an original jazz voice.”
(Derek Ansell - Jazz Journal International)
Listening to Julia Farino sing compelling standards such as Witchcraft and Fascinating Rhythm, you start to understand the woman behind the voice. Julia remains true to the essence of the songs with her unadulterated vocals but reinvents them for the 21st century with her engaging and independent spirit.
The Julia Farino Trio have been working together for the past 10 years after their first appearance at the Riverfront Jazz Festival in Greenwich in 2001. They later became the resident band at The Dorchester Hotel, Mayfair and have since performed at many venues throughout the UK, Ireland and internationally. Julia has performed with her trio and with many other bands at countless venues and festivals including:
Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi - Pizza On The Park Knightsbridge, London - Grand Hotel Paradiso - Les Arcs, France - The 606 Club Chelsea, London - The Oliver Cromwell International Jazz Festival Upton upon Severn, UK - Aspinalls Casino London - Isle of Bute Jazz Festival Scotland - Isle of Wight Jazz Divas Festival Isle of Wight - Ballydehob Jazz Festival Ireland - Caf้ Jazz Cardiff, Wales.
Julia also performs her cabaret show, Hollywood & Broadway – The Golden Age with an 8 piece, swing band.

The Golden Age of entertainment produced some of the finest musicals and movies ever written and introduced some of the greatest stars ever to grace the stage and screen.
Julia performs with an 8 piece, swing band, presenting an evening of songs and narrative reflecting the glamour, style and sheer razzamatazz of a time like no other.
Taking you through the hits of Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers, Nat King Cole, Irving Berlin and more and remembering the stars of the Broadway shows and Hollywood movies with their style, glamour and often corny, comic timing, this is an evening not to be missed!
